Who can enroll in MCL Academy courses?
Our courses are designed for everyone from absolute beginners looking to start a tech career to experienced IT professionals seeking to specialize in system administration, networking, or WordPress infrastructure. Check individual course prerequisites before enrolling.
Do I need any special equipment to get started?
For most tracks, a laptop with a stable internet connection is sufficient. Specific courses (such as those involving server management or virtualization) may require access to a computer with at least 8GB of RAM and virtualization enabled.
Is there an age limit for students?
We welcome learners of all ages. However, students under 18 must have parental/guardian consent during the registration process.
Are the classes live or self-paced?
MCL Academy offers a hybrid approach. Many of our technical deep-dives are [live/cohort-based] to ensure hands-on guidance, while foundational modules are available as self-paced resources. Please check your specific course syllabus for details.
Will I receive a certificate upon completion?
Yes. Upon successful completion of all assignments and the final capstone project, you will receive a digital certificate of completion from MCL Academy that you can showcase on LinkedIn or your professional resume.
